Stay time: 16 to 18 October 2008
My wife & I loved this hotel for reasons:
1. Good breakfast with cappuccino and hot chocolate;
2. Comfortable and quiet;
3. Convenient location / Easy of access (2 minutes to train station & vaparetto stop / 5 minutes to bus station);
4. Many nice restaurants and shops nearly;
5. Within 30 minutes, to S. Macro Square by boat or to Rialto Bridge on foot;
6. Friendly staff (most important).

Stay time: July 23 & 24, 2008
Our family of seven stayed at this wonderful Venetian hotel for two nights in July 2008. We had 3 rooms on the 3rd floor that were clean and large each with an incredibly modern bath. Our room had two airy windows with screens that over looked the green gardens and rooftops below. I loved sleeping with the windows open and hearing the city awaken each morning by the sounds of the neighborhood church bells!
Breakfast was served until 10:00 AM and was very satisfying. The croissants were the best I've had and we had just been all over the Mediterranean!
The hotel staff were so warm and knowledgable about all of Venice. The hotel's proximity to the train station couldn't have been more perfect.
Thank you to Sara and all of the staff at La Locanda di Orsaria. We've already reccomended you to our friends from Albuquerque, New Mexico that are planning a trip to Venice very soon.

We stayed at Locanda di Orsaria during the first leg of our 3 city tour in Italy. The location was great because it was away from the noise and near the train station, which was very convenient when we left for Florence.
We had originally wanted a room on the Grand Canal but were glad we stayed tucked away in our cozy B&B instead - the canal noise would have kept us up all night.
The B&B is nice and the staff is helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in was perfect for a good night's sleep and a warm shower in the morning. The water pressure was better than ours at home and the bed reminded us of our tempur pedic.
Breakfast hit the spot. The owner greeted us every morning and served up the best foamy cappucinos! He was a bright spot in the day - always smiling and making us feel welcome. We also enjoyed delicious fruit cocktail, cereal, and wonderful pastries.
The front desk staff (Sabrina and Sara) was very helpful. When we asked about tours, they printed off times/maps/etc and also advised on the best means of transportation and the weather forecast.
After 3 days in Venice, we concluded that we had selected the right B&B and that we should have planned to stay longer!

Ein wunderbares, kleines und sehr persönliches Hotel. Ausserordentlich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir haben ein normales Zimmer gebucht und bekamen das Superiorzimmer, was wir natürlich in vollen Zügen genossen. Da wir schon Morgens um 7.30 in Venedig ankamen wollten wir nur schnell die Koffer deponieren und weiter gehen. Grosszügigerweisen haben wir gleich noch frühstücken dürfen, so toll! Trotz anfänglich schlechtem Wetter waren die 4 Tage in Venedig schön und erlebnisreich. Wir werden wieder kommen.
Eine herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit an Besitzer und Personal.

Que dire de plus ... 20/20 sur tout et pour tous. Le patron et son personnel remarquable. Un séjour à Venise dans cet hotel est un véritable régal.... Attendons avec impatience de recommencer ce petit rêve éveillé...Grand merci à Mr Renato et à tout le monde de La Locanda di Orsaria. A bientôt

Stay time: 6 au 11 mars 2008
5 nuits : Un séjour parfait : une chambre et une salle d’eau décorées avec goût, un très bon et copieux petit-déjeuner avec le super cappuccino préparé avec amour par M. Renato. Sans oublier bien sûr la gentillesse de l'ensemble du le personnel. Nous avons aussi apprécié le calme (chambre donnant sur la cour) et la situation fantastique de l'hôtel à proximité de la gare et la Piazzale Roma. Nous reviendrons !

Stay time: May 2003 and March 2006
Our family of four (two adult daughters) first stayed at La Locanda di Orsaria in May of 2003. We loved it. When eldest daughter went to Italy for her honeymoon, she and her new husband stayed there (March 2006). We look forward to a return trip. A wonderful family-owned hotel with true Italian hospitality.

Liebes Team der Locanda,
Ihr seid für uns das beste Hotel Venedigs. Eure Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft hat uns die letzten Tage zu einem unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in Venedig gemacht. OK, Euer super Frühstück hat auch seinen Teil dazu beigetragen. Vom ersten bis zum letzten Cappuccino wurde alles mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen, dann allerdings mit unserer kleinen Tochter um Ihr zu zeigen, was itelieneische Lebensweise ist. Liebe Grüße Achim & Norma
